Body Haptics - Wearable
Borderline
Border Line is a modular necklace designed to alert the wearer of alternative urban boundaries through vibrations and light. The data of the urban boundary is fed in by users and collected on a networked platform. Inspired from the urban boundaries that exist in the city for example physical boundaries and visual boundaries and material boundaries. There are spaces in the city which have traces of the past but have diminished during the course of time. The project looks at re-experiencing the boundaries in the city. For the project, the site chosen was the Brunswick square park in London. This place was originally Fondling hospital but only some portions of the hospital are left and the remaining space is a public garden.
